The tie-break date and time for this Express Entry Draw in the Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) are 18th February 2018, at 12:31:16 UTC. According to this, the candidates with a score of 284 or above who have submitted their Express Entry profile before the specified date and time were issued ITA in this program specific draw.
This Express Entry Draw is the 100th draw of invitation round through the Federal Express Entry System. It was introduced in Jan 2015 for managing applications for the three main economic immigration categories of Canada, “Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and the Canadian Experience Class.”
The candidates on getting the invitations will have 60 days to submit their complete application for Canada Permanent Residence.
The Program Specific Draw like this are exceptions for the draws that held through the Express Entry System. The majority of this includes the candidates from all the Canadian economic immigration programs.
Prior to this draw, last program specific draw was held on 30th May 2018. It has issued 500 invitations to the FSTC candidates with CRS score as low as 288.
FSTC allows those candidates who have a valid job offer or are certified to work in certain occupations to get the Canada PR. Below are the criteria for FSTC:
- 2 years of full-time work experience in a skilled trade within last 5 years.
- Meeting the job requirement for the skilled trade as set out in the National Occupational Classification, except the need for a certificate of qualification.
- Valid job offer of full-time employment for a period of minimum 1 year or a qualification certificate in the skilled trade as issued by the province of Canada, territorial or the Federal authority.
