The Skilled Workers Overseas Stream issued a total of 317 invitations while remaining 213 invitations went to the candidates under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream.
Both the streams are a part of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). These streams allow Manitoba to nominate the economic immigration candidates for Canada permanent residency each year.
The minimum score required for the Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream is 375. For the Skilled Workers Overseas Stream candidates, the lower score is 596.
The minimum score for the foreign workers who are invited directly by MPNP through a strategic recruitment initiative is 711.
MPNP has an immigration pathway that’s express-entry linked and is a part of the Skilled Workers Overseas Stream. It allows the nomination of the eligible candidates for Permanent Residency.
The express entry candidates will get an additional 600 points towards their Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) System on receiving a provincial nomination certificate. The invitation guarantees an ITA for Canada Permanent Residency.
The eligible candidates who want to apply for these streams must register their Expression of Interest (EOI) profile with the MPNP. EOI profile contains information like education, language proficiency in French/English, work experience, and other factors. Candidates will get scores based on their EOI profiles. The highest ranked candidates from the pool of eligible candidates will get an ITA for Canada PR through regular draws from Manitoba’s EOI pool.
